Apostrophe before a word in Hebrew

Hello,

I've encountered some trouble while adding an apostrophe before a word in Hebrew, for some reason it adds a space between the word & the apostrophe (as you can see in the picture).

I managed to bypass this by adding an extra letter before the word, then adding the apostrophe and then deleting the extra letter (seen in the second row in the picture).

Is there a way to avoid this bypass and prevent the unnecessary space?

Thanks

Roy

The font I am using is Raanana, on 10.5.3..

With other fonts it works OK, so I guess it's the font. If you have any suggestions I'll be happy to hear, if not I'll switch fonts.

Thanks,

Roy

also in Raanana I do not have the problem, very strange. could it be something with 10.5.3? I work still with 10.4.11

you could try to copy the Raanana file from an older system.. ( i could send it to your e-mail) or you could use Lucida Grande, they are very similar.

I also had this problem in 10.5.2..

I'll try & copy the font from an older system, if you can send it to me it would be great (I'll send a private message with the address).

Thanks,

Roy
