Any chance for a better hebrew support?

I know the problems we encounter with support for hebrew letters like nikud, underlined numbers etc originate from apple's text engine. I wonder whether any hint was recieved from Apple people conerning the prospects for any improvement, at ANY time? next system maybe? are they aware of the problems?
My patience' reservoir is running low.. Is there any way we can continue using nisus and write proper hebrew?
Is there any way to find that out? thanks

Most of the time we report an issue to Apple we do not receive any information on when (or if) a fix is forthcoming. However, even if we did, we would be unable to disclose that information to the public.

That said, what version of OSX are you using? Some of the nikud and underline problems may have been fixed for 10.5 (Leopard).

Thanks for the reply. I was not aware of any differences between tiger and leopard, concerning hebrew support. If that is so - it is a good reason to move to leopard. But I must say that a do not remember a report of a problem solved in leopard with hebrew support. not to mention the system hebrew fonts that are simply bad in the nikud aspect. and those remain the same in leopard (I think..)
annoying...

If you have a document that shows a specific problem that you can describe, we can check if it's been fixed in Leopard for you. I remember something about the placement of nikud being off and underlines not being drawn for all Hebrew text, but don't have any examples on hand to test with.
