The new release of "TABLES" (1.4.6) includes the LinkBack feature.

Thank you for this information,
but are you sure this already works for 1.4.6? (1.5 is supposed to have it)

And if so, how?

I' am sorry. You are right. It's the version 1.5 of "Tables" which should include the LinkBack feature. Thank you for correcting this error.

No problem!
Good to be informed anyway that Tables is going to have this feature.
I already use Linkback a lot for drawings from Lineform,
and I am sure it will prove valuable for me with Nisus too,
also because I am using Tables more and more
the better I learn to work with it.

According to their website, Tables 1.5 functions only as a LinkBack client; that is, you can paste something from LinkBack server apps into Tables, but not vice versa.

That’s a drawback. It had been better if it was the other way around.

Well that depends on what you want. I need it the way round it is, and sent Daniel an email from when I started using it -- still in preliminary beta -- asking for that.

That said, I do understand that the other direction would be helpful too for many other purposes, so I'll drop him a line on that one and I suggest that you do too. Though as a one man operation, no doubt it will take him some time to implement. I have found him always, very responsive, courteous and helpful.

Can I add that I've been using the 1.5 betas from the outset, and apart from a couple of small bugs in the display initially, I have found 1.5 to be stable and reliable, though my uses are perhaps limited compared to some.

In case I'm not the only Nisus user who never heard of Tables, here's the URL:
