Hello,

How can I increase the space between the text of the footnotes and the dividing line?

Thanks,

In Style Sheet, Select 'Footnote' under Note Styles and increase the Gutter Height by overwriting the default number:

Changing the gutter increases the space between the footnote itself and the rest of the text. I want to change the space within the foot note so the text inside of it will be further down from the dividing line (see attached pic).

In that case, you have to adjust 'Align in Gutter' pop-up. Try 'Top' or 'Center'.
