Graphics Placement Quandary

I am new to Nisus Pro, but despite having read the Help section on graphics placement, I am finding it impossible to place a graphic at the head of a paragraph with text wrapping around it. The manual says that the anchor will point to the upper left of my graphic. My anchor is pointing to the bottom center of my graphic. When printed, the graphic is not appearing where the anchor is placed, but where the image actually sits. It is impossible to nudge the graphic to the place where I want it because it immediately jumps to the previous page or the bottom of the page on which I want it.
I am assuming that this is not a WYSIWYG process, but how do you verify that your image will appear where it's supposed to? Am I supposed to be manipulating the anchor, or the image? There seems to be no logical relationship between the two?
Can anyone enlighten me? I am just not getting it. http://nisus.com/forum/posting.php?mode ... 65c8fa3304#
Thanks a lot
