I've unchecked the 'show page guide' box in preferences so that new documents created in Nisus Writer Express don't show them, but when I open documents created by other apps (for instance, exports from Scrivener), they still show up.

It's not a major irritant, but I'd like to be able to turn off page guides globally, so they never show up. Is there a way to do this? If not, could it be in the next update, please?

Hi Matt- I'm afraid there's no way to automatically turn off the page guides for all non-Nisus documents. I could file an enhancement for that kind of option, but I wonder if it wouldn't be better for Nisus Writer to simply take the setting from your Nisus New File. What do you think?

Following the New Doc options is a good idea. Maybe a check box in Prefs to choose whether to use the Nisus New Doc defaults, or open as per normal?
