Find returns "Found no occurrences"

Find has stopped working! Even words copied from a document get the "Found no occurrences" result. It makes no difference whether I'm doing normal find or power find, entire file, selection, here to end, etc., ignore case, whole word, etc. Any ideas about what is going on, and how I might fix it? Quitting and restarting Nisus Writer Pro doesn't help.

All the best,
Jim

First let's make sure you didn't accidentally turn on (or absentmindedly leave on) any extra settings. Make sure "whole word", "ignore case", and "attribute sensitive" are all as they should be. If that checks out, please send in a feedback report using the menu Help > Send Feedback.

Thanks for the reply. I had toggled all the options on and off, in various combinations, all to no avail. Really … I was very careful, and even if those were improperly set, you'd think copying and pasting a word from a document, then searching for it would work. It didn't. You'll find that hard to believe, because today find is working properly again. It is very puzzling.

So long as everything is working now, let's just be happy for that

If the problem does reoccur, you might send in a feedback report immediately, as the report may capture information about the cause; thanks.
