I'd like to set my line spacing to 1.5 and my paragraph spacing to 2.0. I haven't figured out how to do this. I'm probably missing something.

Hi Mark- this isn't too tricky, and the best place to set both is in the Paragraph palette. Likely this palette is already in your tooldrawer on the side of your document window. Just click the little "T" icon at the top of the tooldrawer and look down to the Paragraph palette. If it's not there, you can find it on the menu Windows > Palettes > Paragraph. Once you've located the palette you'll see fields for both the line spacing and before/after paragraph spacing.

If you routinely use a particular kind of spacing, you might best be served by altering your Normal style in the Style Sheet document view. Or if you want to affect all new documents you create, in your "Nisus New File", which you can customize in our New File preferences.

Oh, one alternative to set the line spacing quickly is via the menu Format > Line Spacing.

Let me know how you get along with all that.
