NWP 2? Non-aggressive query on when

Hello Martin

This is a non-aggressive query about when we can expect NWP 2. You know -- the one with/without vertical rulers. :P

Some sort of bracket. This year? Spring's gone, this is summer, so Autumn? That kind of indication. :D

Cheers, Geoff

Hello, Geoff.
Do you call it Summer down under? It would be amusing to move there and experience inverted seasons, and say Summer to snow and Winter to yellow caked mud. Years ago I lived on the Dolomites and it amazed me to feel how cold Summer could be. 4 Celsius, or 39 Fahrenheit. It would even snow on July and August! But then Winter was real Winter, knee-deep in the snow, and you could tell the difference because the snow would fall to stay.
Weather aside, I too was wondering how long 1.4 has been around. Just out of curiosity.
But a cool Summer down under…

Henry.

It's winter, of course, groucho, as you are well aware, I was referring to the northern run of seasons. This is plain nasty. Cold, wet (wet! Yes, we are actually having some rain this year) and inimical to the human condition. As for snow and ice ... not here and not anywhere I am ever going to be. I'm off back to the tropics just as soon as I clear away a couple more things.

BUT -- I'm hoping that NWP 2 will hit the www before I get those things cleared away, because back in the tropics where I want to be, Papua New Guinea, the internet is both slow and expensive.

Cheers, Geoff

Well, you might have known that :!:
You better talk about the weather, Geoff. I wonder what’s the weather like in California? Is Yosemite still the beaut (as they say in Australia) Ansel Adams photographed? These are questions you should ask in (related to the northern hemisphere) Summer.

Henry.

Oh, I'm right up with the US weather, Hen3ry (the 3 is silent)

Every morning before I start work, I check a few comics, one being Rhymes with Orange at the Seattle (WA) Post-Intelligencer http://www.seattlepi.com/fun/comic.asp? ... ith_Orange. At the top right of the page, it gives the weather. Right now, it is 67 F and fine but a bit cloudy. I am delighted for Seattle residents, of course -- such a change. I live in a house with a wife and three daughters (when they're all at home) and therefore have been afflicted with chick movies. As a result, we all know "Sleepless in Seattle" far too well, and we are all absolutely convinced that "it rains nine months of the year in Seattle". :P
