I frequently find that I cannot really tell which Style is selected in the Styles Palette as the highlighting is too light. I looked in the preferences and did a quick scan of potentially relevant threads but did not see a way to change the color scheme.

Is this possible? If not I'd like to request this as a feature update.

I believe we use the default OSX control highlight color here, which I don't think you can change. The color is pretty light.
