I'm creating a report document that has variation in headers. Page 1 & 2 do not have a heading, but page 3 will and should start at p.3. Then page 4 won't, page 5 will etc. Is there a simple way to hide the headers on pages where I dont want them?

All of Nisus Writer's header/footer options are handled on a per-section basis. That is, each section in your document can have different settings for its headers/footers, including hidden headers/footers. So, while not super simple, the solution is to insert section breaks into your text wherever you need a header/footer changes, and then configure each section as you please. Let me know if you have any troubles.
