global changes in docs with tables

How do I globally change the language in a document with tables?

I've been doing a select all (and everything including text within the tables is highlighted). I use the flag in the bottom right to change the language to French, but when I de-select and go to the text, the text outside the tables has changed but not inside.

Suggestions?

Try Edit:Select:Select All Document instead of Select All.
