New user question about new style

I am a Mellel refugee attempting to learn how to navigate the features of NWP. I am very impressed with NWP, especially its ease of use and Mac-like feel compared to Mellel. I do have a question about styles.

I created a new style for my academic documents. The style is saved in the Document Manager. Is it possible for this new style to show up in the Styles pallet on every document or do I have to physically add to every new document?

Thanks for any help and/or advice that anyone might have.

You can add the style to your Nisus new (dot) file by editing the new file. In Preferences>New File, tab to Advanced and press the 'Edit Nisus New File...' button. This will open the current Nisus New File for editing. Switch to Style Sheet view and press the 'Import from Style Library...' button' and select the style(s) that you want to import from the list of styles. Save the dot file and close it.
All subsequent new documents created will contain the style(s) thus imported.

Hamid has it right. There are a variety of ways to move styles around (copy-paste, drag-drop, style library, etc) but so long as you get the styles into your Nisus New File they will be available in all new documents.

Note that the Nisus New File only affects new documents; any existing documents will only show styles that are contained in their stylesheet. You'll have to add styles to existing documents manually.
