Tooldrawer won't stay shut

I save all of my documents with the tooldrawer closed, yet every
document always opens with the tooldrawer open. I can't stop it.
There is no option, no setting to turn it off.
In the View tab of Preferences, I have the Tooldrawer popup
menu set to Always Closed, yet it is NEVER closed.
Is there some way I can trick it into remaining closed?

I can't reproduce the problem.
I suggest you change the setting to 'Most Recent' for sometime, and then go back to 'Always Closed'. This will force the preferences file to update the settings.

Hamid's idea is a good one, to make sure your preferences are all in order. If that doesn't work, maybe you can send us your preferences and a sample file so we can test.
