toolbar control button on preference window

I'm trying NWP2 and my first impression so far is positive. I'm glad to see NWP2 open .doc files without problem using "alternate converter" even in Japanese environment + custom language settings.

Have to point out a minor thing though, about UI on preference window. NWP2 carries over an oval button (show/hide toolbar control) on top right corner of pref window. It's useless if not miss-leading.

Please refer to Apple Human Interface Guidelines
http://developer.apple.com/library/mac/ ... ndows.html
"In preferences windows, toolbar items often function as mode switchers (...) A preferences window that contains a toolbar that functions as a mode switcher should not have a toolbar control."

Anyway, big congratulations on v2 release !

Thanks for the congratulations- I'm glad to hear imports haven't been a problem for you.

As to the oval toolbar toggle button in the preferences window: you (and the HIG) are correct, it's rather useless.
