The way ‘Ignore Rich Text Commands’ in the Open dialog handles an RTF file has changed in NWP 2.0: Now the file displaying the raw code is ‘converted’, and when saved, it has .rtf extension. Is it not more appropriate for this file, which is after all a text file, to have .txt extension?

I think you're right, the resaved file should default saving as plain text with a ".txt" extension. Thanks Hamid.
