Hi,

I received a DOC document create on OpenOffice PC, and cannot understand how to get rid of highlighters from it in Nisus Writer Pro. I can do the edit in OpenOffice Mac, but I would be glad to discover how to do it in NWP.

OpenOffice ‘Highlighting’ is in fact ‘Background Color’.
To remove an overriding Background Color attribute:

1. place the cursor anywhere in the text which has a Background Color. You will notice in the Statusbar at the bottom right of the document window a color tag.
2. Click the tag and from its popup menu apply ‘Select All’. This will select all text with the same Background Color.
3. Then while the selection is active, apply ‘Remove Color’ from the same color tag. This will remove the overriding Background Color.

To remove all such background color overrides from your document, select the entire document text and apply the ‘Remove Background Color Attribute’ from the Format> Background Color menu.
