macro menu updating, and F1 key

Needed a quick little macro, so selected New Macro, wrote, and saved it. It appears at the bottom of the Macro menu and works. Great.
Want to assign a key combination to it, so open preferences and get to where you select the menu item.

Problem: the new macro shown at the bottom of the Macro menu does not show up in the list of items in the selection pane.

Quit and restart refreshes the menu, so OK. Is there no way to force the macro menu to refresh in this pane?

Quitting is a pain because deleting the F1 assignment to Palettes:Hide Palettes does not stick through a quit, requiring manually resetting it every time Nisus starts up. Is there some way to force this assignment to stick? Assigning F1 to a different menu item does not solve the problem. It sticks, but the Hide Palettes F1 takes precedence -- so it must be deleted. Every time.

You can trigger a refresh of the menu key preferences pane/browser by merely selecting another menu (eg: File) and then reselecting the Macro menu in the listing.

I'll file this as something to look into; sorry for the hassle.

Would have sworn I'd tried selecting a different menu in that pane, but it works as advertised now.

Thanks.

The problems you had assigning the function keys (eg: F1) should be fixed in the public beta of Pro 2.0.1.
