Paragraph Palette Inoperable

I switched to Lion yesterday and am using Nisus Writer Pro 2.0.1 beta
Today when I tried to change line spacing the paragraph palette on the sidebar would not respond to any input.
I moved the paragraph palette onto the desktop. Now, every time I try to click on it it vanishes.
I ran Disk Warrior but this did not fix the problem.
Help.
