Hello, all

I've been asked to prepare a textbook manuscript with line numbers on the right and paragraph numbers on the left. The examples I've seen always seem to have line numbers on the left, and it seems that once you choose paragraph numbers the options for line numbers disappear. Am I misreading the manual, or are there perhaps any tricks I don't know about?

Hi Rick- I'm afraid you aren't missing anything. Nisus Writer can display either paragraph numbers or line numbers, but not both at once, sorry!

You can place line/paragraph numbers to the right by checking the Right to Left box in the sections palette group. That is fine if there are no footnotes, because the footnote dividing line will also appear to the right.
