How to increase default text fontsize in Find-Replac window?

Hi,
By default the text point size in the Find/Replace window is barely visible, it's minute. Yet the rest of the window is a far more visible size. See attached png:

I know that I can change it manually, but the Find then becomes attribute sensitive and soon reverts on typing new Find text. Is it possible to change the default text point size to something more visible, perhaps the same size as all the rest of the text. If so, how?
All help gratefully received.
warm regards,
Cris

Hi Cris,
By default the Find window's font is the same as that of the frontmost document. That is, the find window will use the font of the active document's Normal style. There is no global default that overrides this, eg: the font will change as the frontmost document changes.
However, you can set the zoom for the find window. Just use the View menu to zoom in (or the associated keyboard shortcuts) to make the text as big as you like.
I hope that helps.

Thanks, Martin
I have the point size set so a document prints properly, but I increase the size on my screen to see it properly. And the variable size in 1% increments works just fine. But it would be far more sensible for the Find/Replace window to use the same variable display size, rather than ignoring it.
As I noted in my post, yes I know "I can change it manually, but the Find then becomes attribute sensitive and soon reverts on typing new Find text." So first I have to increase the zoom, then to mouse to turn off attribute sensitive, and then it only lasts until I type more Find text. Then it reverts back to tiny... Nor can I see how to get it to use the variable 1% size increments, just Apple's clumsy large zoom increments. Not very friendly.
So this solution sort of works but is very cumbersome. Furthermore, why does it keep resetting the zoom when I enter new text rather than, like all other windows, stay unchanged until I change it. Is this a bug?

I think there might be some confusion. I'm not suggesting you ever adjust the font size in the find window. I'm suggesting that you only use the menu
View > Zoom to adjust how large the text appears. Changing the zoom does not turn on the "attribute sensitive" option.
and then it only lasts until I type more Find text
Changing the zoom will persist indefinitely, even after switching the active document or relaunching Nisus Writer.

You're right, zooming in the Find window is restricted to the preset percentages on the menu (eg: 125%, 150%, 200%, etc). Personally I've never found that to be particularly limiting, but it could be more flexible. I'll see about filing an enhancement request- thanks.

Thanks Martin, I had indeed confounded the two. I actually didn't realize Apple's clumsy large zoom increments also worked, so when the 1% zoom increment didn't work, I jumped to the wrong conclusion.
The Apple zoom increments are fine for the Find/Replace Window, it doesn't need the sophistication of the lovely Nisus 1% zoom increments.
Appreciate your help!
