Question about Spell Checking

Hello!

I just recently downloaded the 30 day trial version to find out if Nisus was right for me. I am coming from Neooffice, which I have been using for about a year. I am having an issue using the inherent MAC Lion Spellchecker in Nisus, where in Neooffice you can use both the program's spellchecker and the native lion spellchecker. Is there any way to enable it in Nisus?

Hello and welcome! You can indeed use multiple spelling checkers/dictionaries in Nisus Writer. We automatically adjust the spelling dictionary based on the language you've applied to your text (a single document can have multiple languages applied, and thus multiple spelling dictionaries may be automatically consulted). Nisus Writer supports any spelling dictionary that can be installed on OSX (including 3rd party dictionaries like Cocoa Aspell).

We have a topic that explains how to change the language/spellchecker which should explain things, including all kinds of language/spelling options. If you have any further questions, or are confused, please let us know!
