I've been using NWP for a few years now, through several updates, currently on 2.0.4 on OS 10.6.8. Beginning yesterday, Nisus Pro won't open any docx files, crashing every single time I attempt this. Even for docx files previously opened and converted to rtf.

I've attempted this repeatedly for several crucial files I needed to edit immediately. I had to resort to NeoOffice to ammend them, but doing such is hardly a long-term solution. Has Nisus Pro suddenly become incompatible with docx? I find this incredibly inconvenient and counter-productive to why I began using Nisus in the first place (ease of use, especially with several files types).

Suggestions? Input? Am i missing something obvious?

Sometimes there are conversion issues/errors when opening .docx files, but definitely Nisus Writer should not crash. Could you please:

1. Try to open the docx file again and wait for NWP to crash.
2. Relaunch NWP.
3. Use the menu Help > Send Feedback, which automatically collects the relevant logs. It would be great if you could attach the docx file that triggered the problem.
