Hi,
From the manual and the forum I believe that the following is impossible in a single document, but I'd like to ask anyway:

In one part of the book I have the Footnote divider set to 50% and the footnotes start on the same line.

In another part of the book I'd like to have the footnote divider set to 100% and footnotes start on different lines.

Is this possible, or do I have to have separate documents?

You are right; you will need to make two separate documents.

In the case of footnote divider set to 100%, set the 'Multi-page length' also to 100% which will look better.
