After working on my book manuscript for a couple of years I'm almost ready to use a print-on-demand service so that it can be available for sale online. The service I'll be using is Amazon's Createspace which requires a PDF file with the fonts embedded. After reading through the NWP online manual I can't seem to find a definitive answer to the question of whether or not fonts are embedded in the PDF in either the "Save as PDF" or in printing to a PDF. Does one embed fonts and the other does not?

PDFs produced by Save As PDF from the File menu and Save As PDF in the Print dialog are identical. Fonts are embedded in both.
