Alternate table row shading

The folks at Apple seem to love the alternate row colouring style for tables. (Me not so much.)
Anyhow for people who are similarly inclined here is a macro. Just place the cursor in a row in the table, apply your favorite shading color or pattern, and then run the macro. It will apply the same shading to all alternate rows (either odd or even, depending on the selection).
