paragraph alignment for tables - is indenting possible?

I am new to NWP so I'm still learning. So far I really like it. I thought I would miss Pages (long time user), but I don't! I'm in the process of moving over my pages documents, and I like how NWP uses rtf -- it's much easier to share documents with others and I find it really can do more of what I want than Pages. I'm learning as I convert! lol!

Here's my latest road block -- I have either created or inserted a simple table. I understand how to align it on the left, right, or center. I want to indent this table 1.5 inches from the margin. I cannot figure out how to do it and I have searched the forum and manual.

Is it just not possible in NWP? My usual ways (experience with word, pages, libreoffice, etc) are just not working! Is there a way? :?

Thanks!

Actually you can drag a table either horizontally or vertically. Make sure the table is selected (for example click inside the table). If it is selected you will see the little blue squares at the corners of the table. Then move the cursor over the leftmost or topmost border. A "hand (glove?)" cursor will appear. Then you can click and drag the table away from the margin, or down from the preceding paragraph.

I would have provided a picture, but Grab does not seem to register the cursor shape.
