reveal RTL (right to left) tags?

I was just working on a file in which I'm not planning to have any Hebrew (RTL). However, somehow I must have input a "Reverse direction marker" or "Right to left marker" or "Left to right marker" (I have no clue which). But how to remove it? And how to tell which one was inserted? Maybe two "Reverse direction markers" were inserted? (I do have quick keys applied to these markers, so I probably used them accidentally to input something, when I was trying to use quick keys to insert outline list formatting). When I even delete the entire string of characters and try again, it's still there, even if I start with a new return from the previous line (which is AFAIK entirely LTR). Seems there should be some way to "see" these characters or the tags that represent them, so that, if needed, they can be eradicated. Attached is a screenshot of the flashing vertical lines that show the change of direction. Any advice on this?

Is there a way to find all directionality markers? If so I could delete them and continue on.

On a test copy of your file, try this expression in the Find what field of PowerFind Pro, and leave the Replace with field empty:

[\x{200E}\x{200F}\x{202A}-\x{202E}]+

Pressing the Replace All button will delete the found characters.

It may be that there are no RTL overrides in your document and that the natural writing direction of the left to right language is overridden by RTL paragraph setting «, in which case reset the natural writing direction for the document:
