merging dictionaries of new 'autocorrects'??

Hi Forum,

I use the 'add to quick fix' feature a lot to 'train' Nisus pro to pick up and correct my misspells. However, I use this on both my desktop mac and macbook

Is there a way to "synch" these two 'files' wherever they are, so that I'm correcting words into the one 'dictionary'?

Can I somehow merge the two files from both computers and then have that one file perhaps in dropbox or include where it would automatically synch?

that would a great help

thanks for any advice

Philip

Hello Philip, unfortunately keeping QuickFix in sync between computers won't be possible. QuickFix entries are stored in language definition files, kept in the Application Support folder. Depending on which version of Nisus Writer you're using (2.0.x or 2.1), that will be either of these folders:

~/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer Pro/Languages
~/Library/Containers/com.nisus.NisusWriter/Data/Library/Application Support/Nisus Writer Pro/Languages

It's not easy to keep that data in sync between Macs.

However, I'll file an enhancement request that we add a way to improve this situation.
