Upgrade says my license is too long to be valid

I just upgraded. I am running Yosemite on a MacBookPro. The upgrade says I have to enter my license. I have a family pack and am told that my license is too long to be valid.
Any suggestions?

I'm sorry you had trouble entering your license key into Nisus Writer Pro (NWP) version 2.1. There was a bug that prevented some license keys from being automatically migrated from Pro 2.0.x, as we intended. We regret the error and inconvenience for our users.
To solve your problem, let's verify some things:
1. A Pro version 2.x license key always starts with the prefix "NB-".
2. After your license key fails to validate, use the menu Nisus Writer Pro > About Nisus Writer Pro. Make sure you see the version number "2.1" in the About box. It appears in light grey, located in the top-right corner, just under the word "Pro".
Please let me know what you discover, thanks.

Yes, the version is 2.1 and my license begins with NB- followed by a sequence of 4 characters and a "-", which repeats 5 times. I used copy and paste and also manually entered the code.
Do I delete and reinstall?

Error: my license begins with NB- followed by a sequence of 4 characters and a "-", which repeats 5 times. Should read repeats 4 times for a total of 5 groups of 4.
Thanks for any help.

I just sent you an email, so we can discuss the exact keys privately. We'll get this problem solved one way or another!
