I wonder what are the implications of this for the end-user? I found support for Bookends in the last version of NWP lagging a bit in comparison with Mellel 4 and would love to know what the improvements mean.Changed: communication with Bookends uses app bundle identifiers instead of app creator codes.

Bookends and NWP3
I see in the release notes that there have been enhancements to the handling of Bookends references in NWP3:

Re: Bookends and NWP3
This change doesn't represent any enhancements an end-user might care about. It's just ensuring that Nisus Writer communicates more reliably with Bookends.
What enhancements would you like to see between Nisus Writer and Bookends?

Re: Bookends and NWP3
Thanks for the reply, Martin! And congratulations on the launch of the latest version of Nisus.
I was thinking of the ability to see how citations and the bibliography will look in the final version in real time during the writing process, and not during the final scan.

You mean like how Bookends works together with Live Bibliography in Mellel?joseph_anton wrote: ↑2018-10-27 01:39:01 I was thinking of the ability to see how citations and the bibliography will look in the final version in real time during the writing process, and not during the final scan.

Re: Bookends and NWP3
That should be nice to have in NWP as well. I use it frequently in Mellel and it's one of the reasons I use Mellel instead of NWP while writing academic texts.
