Nisus Software, Inc. releases Nisus Email 1.6 for OS X
Solana Beach, CA - December 6, 2001 - Nisus Software, Inc. announces
the release of Nisus Email 1.6. This unique, critically acclaimed e-
mail client runs on Mac OS X and provides a number of enhancements
to the classic OS version, as well. For those who own any previous
version of Nisus Email it is a free upgrade. The cost to purchase it
new is $29.95. It is available as a download from
our web site.
A fully functional 14 day demo version is also available at the above URL.

Just some of the many new enhancements of Nisus Email 1.6 include:
- OS X version now available.
- SMTP authorization is now supported.
- Email message flags added (forwarded, replied to, and priority).
- Foreign character sets supported for both incoming and outgoing file
attachment names.
- Nicknames are autoexpanded in any To:, CC:, and BCC: fields.
- Each user personality now has a reply-to address.
- Incoming emails with foreign character set encodings are
automatically displayed in the proper font if possible.
Nisus Email 1.6 was developed with REAL Software's REALbasic 3.5.2.
