Solana Beach, California -October 10, 2002- Nisus^® Software, Inc. and Okito Software today announced that Nisus Software, Inc. has acquired the assets of Okito Software, makers of Okito Composer and Okito Thesaurus. The developer of Okito Software has also joined in the continuing development of the award winning word processor, Nisus Writer.

     Users who have purchased Okito Composer will be upgraded free to the next version of Nisus Writer.
