Export Your Nisus Writer Pro Documents to Share on the Web
Nisus Writer Pro enables you to export your document either as a single page to share on the Web or (if it is a larger text) as a complete interlinked site you can upload.
1. Edit your document as you would ordinarily.
2. Use the Styles supplied in the Nisus New File that comes with Nisus Writer Pro to format your text.
These styles are designed to convert to standard HTML attributes.
3. Choose the menu command: File > Export As… of Nisus Writer Pro.
4. Give your file the name you want it to have and navigate to the folder where you want to save it.
5. In the Export As dialog choose HTML from the File Format pop-up menu in the lower portion of the dialog.
Export a complex document as an interlinked site
1. Edit your document as you would ordinarily.
2. Use any styles you want to format your text.
Nisus Writer Pro will interpret the styles in your document and create a Cascading Style Sheet to display your document correctly on the Web.
3. Choose the menu command: File > Export As… of Nisus Writer Pro.
4. Give your file the name you want it to have and navigate to the folder where you want to save it.
5. In the Export As dialog choose HTML Chapters from the File Format pop-up menu in the lower portion of the dialog.
6. Choose the style in your document that you want to use according to which you want Nisus Writer Pro to divide your document into separate files from the Chapters Split By pop-up menu at the bottom the dialog.
Nisus Writer Pro creates a folder using the document’s name containing
◦ an index.html file
◦ various chapter files into which the file has been divided, eg: chapter_name.html.
◦ and an additional folder resources containing
▪︎ a stylesheet.css file describing the layout of your document and
▪︎ all the images in your document.
