Misc Commands

Nisus Writer no longer uses a drawer to hold its tools, since the drawer interface was deprecated by Apple. Palettes are now contained in a “dock”, which is either attached to document windows or housed in a separate free-floating window. The dock’s visibility is controlled via the commands on the menu Window > Palettes.

Require Application Version version v1.0.1

If the application version does not meet or exceed the specified version then the user is presented with a message that describes the constraint and the macro is stopped. The version should be specified using an internal application version string. See the Application Property “version” command for more on the format this version string takes.

System Property “language” v1.0.1

Returns the standardized language code (eg: “en_US”) of the user’s preferred system language.
