Go Back (restore prior selections)
Once of the simplest navigation tools, but also one of the most useful, is the humble Back button on the toolbar:

Clicking the backwards pointing arrow on either of the toolbar buttons shown in Figure 237 above will restore the prior selection. That is, you will jump back to the previous editing location. This can be repeated several times in order to arrive at the desired destination.
Instead of using the toolbar to jump backwards and forwards, these commands on the menu fulfill the same purpose:
• Edit > Select > Previous Selection
• Edit > Select > Next Selection
You may notice that those two menu commands have the default keyboard shortcuts ⌘[ and ⌘], the same shortcuts you’ve perhaps used for this kind of navigation in apps like Safari.
