There are two ways to open a link’s target when working in your Nisus Writer Express document. The easiest is to simply click the linked text in your document. Additionally, you can:
1. Right-click the linked text.
2. Choose Open Link from the contextual menu that appears.
When you open a link the targeted content will open in the appropriate application. For example:
• An internet link will open the web page in your web browser (eg: Safari).
• A file link will open in your preferred app for files of that type, as determined by macOS, usually by following the “Open with” settings in the Finder. For example:
◦ If the file is a “.jpg” or other image type, it will likely open in Preview.
◦ If the file is a “.mp3” it will open in the Music app.
