A useful way to create a horizontal line is to apply the underline attribute to a tab character.
Bug: The underlining is ignored if the tab character is not followed by a non-whitespace character in the same paragraph.
A workaround is to end the paragraph with a period and apply the color white to the period.
(I reported this bug via the built-in feedback, but I thought the workaround might be useful to this list.)

I don't think this is a bug, Bob, it has been a common practice forever.
