Application not responding

I am using Nisus Writer Pro and until recently was very happy with it, but recently I find that it has become prone to freezing (I get the spinning 'pizza' and must force quit to get out of the program). It seems most likely to happen when I am working in a simple table, but may also happen when the document gets large (ie about 5,000 words). Once this happens restarting the program, or even the computer, does not help, all I can do is revert to MS word - and avoiding that was the whole reason for buying Nisus! I am losing faith that I'll be able to use the program for the book I am currently working on.

After you force quit Nisus Writer Pro can you please restart the application and send us a report using the menu Help > Send Feedback? That may help us identify your problem. Also, please don't post a single question in multiple forums. Thank you.

I'm experiencing the same problem, usually when opening NWP by opening a document vs. opening NWP and then opening a document from NWP. And these are documents that are no larger than a couple of pages. Problem is intermittent; sometimes it happens with docs that have formatting, i.e., styles set in another program, but sometimes not. Very irritating.
