text jumps around terribly when wrapped around a graphic

I use charts a great deal when I write reports. The charts are made in Chartsmith, then pasted into Nisus at the appropriate place, and the paragraph that describes the chart is wrapped around the chart. I use between 1 and 4 charts in most reports. After I paste the chart in and choose image moves with paragraph, and choose the image alignment and text wrap, it looks good. However, if I add or edit text, the text seems to jump around, and sometimes the chart will lose its place relative to the text. This is very disconcerting and time consuming.
