Hi,
I search the board for this topic but haven't found anything relevant, so I hope it's OK to ask here. I have a MacBook Pro OS 10.5.3 and use Nisus Writer Pro v1.1. There seems to be a problem with the Document Manager though. There is not document in it and when I try to save it in the Document Manager (menu File > Save in Document Manager") nothing happens. No file appears, the Document Manager stays empty. This can't be right, can it? I have no idea what happened and would be greatful for any advice.
Thanks, validd
My Document Manager stays empty
Re: My Document Manager stays empty
Is there a folder named ~/Documents/Nisus Documents, and is it empty, too? This is the folder which holds all files saved in the document manager.

Hi Lanx,
thank you for your answer.
No, there wasn't a folder there – I remember there was one on my old powerbook (which died two months ago). I just created it and it seems that did the trick. Now at least I see the file. It's strange though that I had to create it manually and it didn't appear automatically. Is there a possibility to add files from other folders in the Document manager without moving them? Or do I have to add an alias to the folder? Also it seems I can't delete anything from the document manager even though there is a button there. If it worked would it delete the file completely or just delete it from the manager and the file would be still there?
It seems that I just don't get it.
thank you for your answer.

Re: My Document Manager stays empty
Have you moved or otherwise altered the location of your home directory? Maybe that's confusing the document manager. Another thing to check is whether permissions allow NWP to write to the Documents folder. Do you receive any error message when you try to save a file the document manager? You might send us a feedback report using the menu Help > Send Feedback after the save fails.
Also, as the to functioning of the document manager, it basically provides a direct window to that one folder on your hard drive. In other words, all operations like delete directly affect the files in that folder.
