Bug? endnote numbering will not stay

I have my endnotes set to appear at the end of each section (chapter) of a book-length manuscript. It does this well. The numbers are set to restart with each section. However, when I close the document and reopen it, the numbers are once more continuous.

Losing the note style placement of "per section" when reopening files does appear to be a bug- we'll have it fixed for the next NWP update. Thanks for letting us know, and sorry for any trouble it's causing you.
