Text Wrapping Text

Post by T.Waters »

Hello "knowledgeable, fervent forum-goers",

I am at the point in my writing now where I need to put certain text boxes in the body text. I found that I could type in a Table, but I could not get the body text to wrap around it like with an image. This software is supposedly intended for serious writers, and this is a very common feature in books. Has anyone found a workaround, or is there an update I am missing? If there is no way to do this, Nisus Staff, I would really appreciate it if you would make that update.

Thanks for the help.

At this time there's no way to have text wrap around a table as one can do with an image, sorry. You might see this thread for an idea on a work around.

Serious writing and serious book layout are two different things, T., and are done with different programs -- and usually by different people. Speaking as a very long time serious writer and user of NW and a very long time DTPer for books, magazines, newspapers and everything, I wouldn't lay out a book in NW if you paid me.

NWPro is a word processor, not a book layout program. That said, it has some useful non-serious layout features.

Cheers, Geoff
