I searched to see if this has been discussed already, but I didn't find anything. Apologies if this has been brought up in another thread. If so, admins please feel free to merge this post.
I rely on the Navigator to move rapidly between sections of long documents that are set off with titles in a heading style. Works great. My only problem is that the Navigator's highlighting doesn't track the cursor as it moves from section to section. So for example if I'm doing a keyword search that takes me deep into the document, or if I'm paging down from one section to another, the Navigator doesn't provide me with any visual cues to tell me what section I've ended up in.
I would like to be able to quickly glance at the Navigator and see what section the cursor is at any moment. Word's Navigation Pane does this and I find it really handy. Perhaps a lighter shade of highlight to indicate that the cursor is within the body of a section, and a darker highlight to indicate that the cursor is at the section heading itself?
