Just back to using Nisus Pro on a regular basis. Can only say, What a relief!
Re: Headers/Footers:
1. Is there a way to set the default font for headers and footers? Is this done through creating a new style?
2. Is there any way for headers/footers to change to grey when not in use? I like to keep my header visible, but dislike that it is the same color as the type. and if I do not have the page attributes showing, it is easy to confuse it with the body of the document.
Thanks for any feedback. Again, enjoying this great program.
A couple of questions about headers/footers
Re: A couple of questions about headers/footers
Hi, JRP.
1. Yes, you guessed right. If you want the header/footer to be consistent, you should create a new style and apply it to the header/footer. Note that you can format the header/footer (or any other piece of text in a document), select it, and create a new style from the selection through the menu Insert > New Style > Based on Selection. The style thus created is not automatically applied to the text, though, so you have to do this manually.
2. As far as I know, NWP doesn't have such a feature. But it would be nice if she had it.
I hope this helped.
Greetings, Henry.

Re: A couple of questions about headers/footers
You could set up the header and footer in the style you want within the Nisus New File or any other template that you create. And you can give fonts a colour, so, as a kludge, you could set it to black in the template, then while you are writing merely change the colour to a grey. When you want to print or whatever, just remove the colour using the colour symbol in the status bar at the bottom.
