I am confused and also new to NWP. the new document/page always opens at a smaller size than I like. esp the height on the screen - I like it top to bottom and not a small document window - I see no way other than manually adjusting it all of the time. I have 2 different size screens on both laptops and want to set them for each screen to open the correct size all of the time. I looked in the manual as such and do not see anything. looked under templates too and said to see p 129. but that doesn't seem to answer my question.

Hi, and welcome to Nisus!
To get what you want, you simply need to modify your default template. To do so, go to Nisus Writer Pro>Preferences, New File, Advanced, and click on Edit Nisus New File. Your default template will then open up; change the size of the window by dragging it manually or by clicking on the green button in the title bar, and once the document looks the way you want it to look, save the file and close it. Every new document should now look like the one you have just modified.
