Search-replace hangs

I have a largish (~62K words) document, originally created in Word, and every time I try to search-replace, even for a simple term, Nisus just freezes up. I have to force-quit to make it stop.

Word, which I use in my office but not at home, executes the same search-replace parameters just fine. Anybody know what might be wrong with Nisus?

Which version of Nisus Writer Pro are you running? I have heard about a similar problem from someone running an earlier version in Snow Leopard. Try the latest 1.3.1 if you have not updated your copy of NWP.

I have no problem in finding and replacing in files larger than yours even in Page View.
