Xerox printing error in Snow Leopard

When I moved over to Snow Leopard, Nisus refused to print to my Xerox 4525.

deleted plist
deleted and reinstalled printer
reinstalled drivers

no joy.

Changed to generic driver

OK

Other apps have no problem.

Any known fix?

In general printing is handled by OSX, so I'm surprised NWP fails when other applications have no trouble. How exactly does NWP fail? Is there any error message? It might help if you submit a report using NWP's menu Help > Send Feedback, just after a failed attempt. That automatically collects the console log, which may include some diagnostic messages.
