NWP 2 and docx

Post by codewizard »

Well the import of docx appears to be much improved. Still has some issues. But improved.

I was not able to convert a file docx with footnotes. Footnotes were completely lost. With the exportation from MSWord 2011 to RTF all was OK.

Exchanging files using the RTF file format will always improve the exchange fidelity (since RTF is NWP's native format). However, the latest version of NWP (the just released version 2) should be able to import footnotes from ".docx" files.

My footnotes imported successfully from docx to Nisus, but the references all had the same reference tag:

NOTEREF _Ref319262934

Is there an efficient way of dealing with this to include numbering? Or do I have to do each one by hand?

Thanks,

Isaac
