Cannot edit Japanese text in mixed text since upgrading lion

It is difficult to describe all the things that happen when I insert the cursor into a passage of Japanese text and hit space or delete just one syllable. Same thing with writing. Lines have no more structure and mostly just clogs up in one spot. Portions of text disappear, so it is scary. On a positive note, undo does work, but that's it. As I am stuck I wonder whether the recent betas address this. Thanks for any thoughts!

Yes indeed, the NWP 2.0.1 public beta fixes this issue. If you're using Lion, I'd recommend you switch to the beta. Sorry for the trouble.
